Kelcey Morrow M.Ed
As a proud native of San Antonio, TX, Kelcey has been fortunate to experience and learn the value of education firsthand.
Kelcey is a proud alumna of Baylor University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Special Education. After starting her teaching career in Dallas, TX, Kelcey went on to earn a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Instruction at Prairie View A&M University. Currently Kelcey holds instructional certifications in the state of Texas for elementary education, special education, gifted and talented education, and English as a second language. As an educator, Kelcey dedicates her time serving on campus committees for student engagement, community partnerships, and academic achievement.
In addition to her career in education, Kelcey spends her time serving the Dallas community through her memberships in the Junior League of Dallas, the Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals, and her bible study group. She enjoys volunteering at non-profit organizations such as Crossroads Community Services and the KIND Clinic,. When she’s not volunteering, Kelcey can be found reading YA novels, painting, working out, or discovering the latest restaurant in the DFW area with friends.
As a education advocate, Kelcey believes in the liberating power of not only obtaining an education, but obtaining an education that is genuine and truthful in all aspects. Her goal as an educator and advocate is to help students obtain educational opportunities she was fortunate to get, and fight for causes that impact her community.
